Ok maybe a silly question, but can anyone confirm that the brake fluid reservoir, the one in the cab, connects to the plastic pipe with just a black coloured seal? I am sure it doesn't need a jubilee clip or am I wrong.

Thats how i was told to do it at the show when i bought my replacement!

However, looked on drive yesterday and have a puddle of brake fluid  tank is empty :x

Need to take of today and and find out why! :?:

thanks for replies- Dazza the leak must be coming from under the van rather than the top reservoir in the cab? Unless you've got lots of rust holes in the cab floor

Have you dislodged the pipe from the top of the master cylinder reservoir maybe?
That does need a plastic clamp to fasten it.

I gave up with the plastic ones, always leaked, and so fragile you cant push the pipe on right. so oiked it. ps mine dripped on the floor but not a puddle just ran down the pipe.

Originally there were plastic/nylon hose clips fitted.

so I have a sweatband around it to catch any drips til I can sort it.

sharky.

yes thanks one bought and will see how leak proof it is with the seal also. Now I just have to clean out all the brake fluid from the kick panel gutter!
