The van seems to be drinking brake fluid. Filled the reservoir last weekend and again today. No sign of leaking anywhere. I still have to take off the rear hubs but the outers are dry. Any thoughts please. No marks on the drive

Hmm, have you tried bleeding the brakes? Or do they feel spongy? Wonder if air is gradually returning to the reservoir and the fluid is replacing it.
The fact its drinking fluid would indicate its leaking though, and the point about having no marks on the drive indicates it could be leaking into a sealed or reasonably sealed area, not good!
Have you tried pressing the brake pedal and watching if the fluid goes down after 10 or so presses? If its leaking its probably more likely to do so when there's some pressure in the system.

Yes I've been pressing the brakes whist stationary and it seems ok. I may need to remove the rear drums. There is no fluid or wet patches anywhere

Is the hose from the reservoir, tight and letting fluid run down the hose to the area behind the front panel.also have you checked the master cylinder for leaks.
