Hi,

I have a new master cilinder but the brake pressure valves (these are between the master cilinder and brake pipe) don't fit in, all the holes have the same thread.
Is it possible to use this cilinder whitout the valves, the brand is schalburg.
Or better looking for a ATE where they fit in?, but the trouble is nobody has them here in Holland.
My bus is a 1970 US westy.

Harry

Hiya Harry,

You can omit the in-line valves with no problems. I've been running my 1970 Bus without the valves for years. This is the standard set-up here in the States for anybody who has replaced their master cylinder.
