I always stand for interviews!

I'm sure I recognise this guy talking to Mike - does/did he have a red & black splitty???

Some great pictures there folks, I love the aerial shot of the line-up!!!

Glad you guys and girls had such a great time 8)

;)

It's Rikki James. My mate from work said he was a crap interviewer - he's wrong! Rikki puts people at their ease - I'd expected to be a bumbling idiot but he saw me through. Only problem is you hear your words over the tannoy on a second or so delay - very offputting.

Juss the bus is an old Ambulance so Speedman told me hence lots of lights frosted glass in back and pull out step

Rikki James is a legend is his own lifetime as far as buses are concerned.....especially splits.

He is a very committed and hard working member of the SSVC and looks after all their lineups at shows......I've seen him countless times but yesterday was the first time I got to speak to him and I have to say he is a thoroughly nice guy, and as Grazy would say, he knows his onions....... 8) 8)

His own ratty split barndoor is almost as well known as he is, although I think the bus is a bit poorly at the moment, hope it gets better soon Ricky!

So thanks from me to you Ricky, you did a great job of putting all the prize winners at ease!!

thanks to everyone for a really fun day- and to mike for keeping in constant touch with me all morning.
it was great to meet you all- apologies for not remembering everyone's name but it was lovely to speak to grazy, dave and his wife, mike and his wife and jason.

we finally got home after 6 hours but we were accompanied by lots of bays on the way home so we were happy.

i'll post some photos up when they're downloaded.

big thanks to rikki too for being patient with us until we all arrived.
it was a great day and very well organised.

until next year....

This was my first time at Brighton Breeze and first time of meeting up with any "Early Bayers". It was great to be part of the line up, and good to talk to you all. :D
We had a peaceful evening up at the racecourse along side VWAIRCOOLED, and a slightly drier drive home this morning! 8)

Nice pics all round. Congratulations to the winners and everyone who made it down. Was good to catch up with a few faces. :)

Apologies to VWaircooled, thought you were talking about a club not a username, just can't seem to remember any names these days!

Great dog dancingbay, and thanks for holding my space.

Well done to all who turned up and especially those who won!!!!! 8)

Looks like you all had a cracking day. :D

Top weekend, of course ;)

Nice PR for the site and great weather.

We stopped on the way back at the Utra VW Bug Boogie, which was ok for a stop-off, but not that busy VW wise, lots of Porches there though.

We then hit the mother of all road jams on the M4, and bumped into willi76 who was walking about ..... :)

Anyway ..... thanks all. :)

We were at the Ultra Show, its always a bit quieter than a normal show, more just a gathering with a couple of traders, we had a laugh 8)
