C&C - GROUP - BUY WESTFALIA CANVAS--------------------------

Nothing has been agreed with C&C yet and me thinks we can get a superior quality canvas from them. If anyone has any other suggestions I would like to know .

I have e-mailed C&C today regarding their Westfalia roof canvas'. Hopefully they will be up for giving us a group discount. :shock: :shock:

I haven't heard back yet but thought it can't be too much trouble to start getting some interested names down, it might make their minds up for them. On the website they are £362.95! Item No:10 Code:S02668

Looks good , same as the one on Clydes van, check out his build thread for pics!
Couldnt do much with it today, just measured it up with my old one and marked the centres. My pop top is sitting in the garden again ready for the big fit (again :roll: )
Got it for £275 in the end as it was the last one at the old price, think they said the new delivery ones which came in monday were £305 but dont quote me on that - i could be wrong :mrgreen:
Heratige sent me a reply £255.79 + vat as well

I bought mine direct from WolfsburgWest 18 months ago and had it shipped over in the bus.

It cost $291 at the time so about £195. Just checked their Website and they are still the same price today !!!

If you know anyone bringing a bus over it might be worth looking at.

Could be worth seeing what discount wolfsburgwest would do then. Just did a quick calculation and had a guess at $30 shipping. That would give a price of about £266 with duty and vat (obviously depends on exchange rates) so could be cheaper to ship a few over and see if they'll give a bit of discount at the same time....

Just checked and for 7 canvases the shipping would be about $33 per canvas so could work......

Just been playing around with the figures and if it's classed as "Car Covers of Woven Textile" it works out a bit cheaper than I first thought at around £254.70 (£55.03 in duties and VAT) landed before any discount WW might give. Seems like it could work, it's just the unknown of exchange rates and duties that could cause havoc!

Don't suppose you know what it was classed as Clem?

Hi Matt thank you for your email, i can confirm that we buy these from the same place as wolfsburg west, so yes they are the same ones as they stock. If you could get enough people that want these pop tops, and you place the order all at once we would be willing to offer you a trade price on these so it should make it a fair bit cheaper.

C&C Have got back to me, we need a minimum of ten in the order!

There would be a good discount so let me know what you would like and i can then arrange a price and a shipping cost.
