and ironically I needed a jump start sunday afternoon on the ml and a chap in a 55 split obliged :) Who says nnew is better...

If anyone on here was in the group that took pity on me towing my children back to the overflow camping area and stopped to give me an ice cold can of cider - you are legends and it summed up what this years show was all about. Good times, great atmosphere (apart from the nob that threw a glass bottle at me friday night) and very friendly people all there to have a good weekend.

Brilliant.

Brilliant line J.

Did you go James? recon I spotted you looking at the White tin-top in the S+S on Sunday.......

I was there, supposed to be camping in the family section but arrived only to be told they had spread out too much and I had to go else where as no space left, came down to the club camping and couldn't find you lot so ended up in a field out the back.

But yes I was stood drooling over a white tin top at the S&S, i was wearing a hat. I kept my eye out for you all over the weekend but didn't spot anyone.

Up until the show and shine on sunday I was drooling over the t5's, Claire was getting worried I was going to buy one I think as I was asking a lot of questions and climbing all over them.

I'd lost all interest in the bays, especially mine, until sunday. Thankfully I am back on track and looking forward to getting an engine in it and then getting it up to midland paintworks at the end of the year. Don't think I will make any shows in it this year or my IOW camping trip next month but I guess thats part and parcel of old buses

But i bought a radio flyer, flagpole and some new flooring for poppy and talked about the refit for next year and how the kitchen is going to be swapped for an upright unit with more storage. All good signs :)

J.

I would have said hello but wasn't sure it was you guys!

We were camped miles away this year, it sucked!

Who saw the fella in the Mankini Saturday night :?: My Mrs said he had some balls to wear that :!: Im not so sure she was only talking about his shamelessness

:) It was us, we kept an eye out but it was too hot and just getting the kids from ice cream to ice cream without them flaking seemed to occupy all our time :)

What a fantastic weekend, had to go in my split has the bay is work in progress but should be ready next year.

Yes I saw the guy in the mankini, whilst I was sweating like mad dressed as pappa lazarou. Anybody see me?

Apart from the girl refusing to look at me behind the bar, said the character frightened her. Still had an amazing weekend.

:D :D

As said much deserved for the Robert Johnson award, bus looked great. Good to chat to some of the fellow Early Bayers that i met

Some great pics in this post, top weekend, top weather, top people.

I bought a cab mat off the guy with the White tintop (won it on ebay and picked it up from him Sunday) He'd driven the bus up for the S&S especially. Loved the deep dish euro style alloys and the whole stance of the bus, some top work gone into getting it to look real sweet.

Also spoke to the guy with the red crossover when wandering the field Saturday evening, he was just working on polishing his engine. Good job none of em followed me down the dirt track, I hadn't connected my air tubes to the heat exchangers so was blowing a cloud of dust everywhere I went

Me on the left at camper jam. I now know the stig is called DAVE!!
