Currently on an eco campsite near bude (which means the toilet is a bucket) but off to forest of dean via bristol. Planning to try out the biking in ashton court or leigh woods. Does anyone know a good site near but west or southwest of bristol? Struggling to get my phone to load any website but earlybay...

Oh and any sites in forest of dean would also be good.

Cheers
Ginga

I always stay at Bracelands in the Forest. Big, excellent location for hiking, canoeing, climbing and cycling (or just chilling).

Yep another vote for Bracelands, last time I got lost in the Forest for a couple of hours the Mrs never even noticed the Dog's & I were gone.

damn, have ended up on a small farm campsite called rushmere, seems ok although just waiting for awning to blow away as we are on top of a hill and its blowing a gale. Only sixteen quid a night though.

Cheers for responses, if my phone was any good I d have taken your advice.
Ginga.
