Has anyone used a CO meter to balance Solex twin PDSIT carbs on a type4 engine? Ive got a couple opf questions
1) acording to Bently/Haynes you disconnect idle solanoid (i understand this) but also the vac retard. Do you reset the timing or just set it up using whever the timing ends up (think this was about 10 degrees AFTDC) and why disconnect it in the first place?
2) while balancing the carbs you disconnect each cutoff solinoid `in turn, can you also use the CO meter to set this up or do you just use the rev drop?
