Carb help please

Today I lent my bro' in law my carb (Solex 34 PICT) to try on his bus - but the flange was too big! I didn't realise there would be a difference! He has a Mexican (?) AS engine - what will fit it? Also, does he have an option to fit a twin-choke carb?

Sounds like he might have to obtain an earlier inlet manifold if he wants to fit a solex carb :roll:

1600tp's used the 34. The sp & smaller engines used the small flange 30/31 etc.

I have used a 31 on a 1600 with a 009 with good results. Not slow either!
