dudes, Like many i have just experienced the common problem of my carb "fouling" my new alternator..tried to buy a spacer online but could not find one anywhere! so a good friend of mine made a CAD programme and cnc'd me a lovely alloy spacer, to exact spec.. anyway i was wondering if there was a demand for said spacer? maybe i could get a few more knocked up......... :)

i will try to post a pic :?

had exactly the same problem a couple of weeks ago! could find 3mm spacers, but needed an inch, so stacking these with gaskets in between sounded a crap idea. ended up making one myself at work also from ali. you would think that seeing this is a common problem you would be able to buy them.im sure there would be a demand for them.ok if your running twin carbs, but if you have solex or bocar your stumped! heres mine, im right proud of the little beauty!

Hi again... not really sure about price... i'll have to chat with my mate (alot depends on machine time) ... but guessing i'd say maybe around a tenner with the extended threaded studs included... what do you guys think? i've got one spare ready now if anyone needs?
