Hello. Just fitted a standard engine to my newly aquired '71 bay. Thing is, although the previous owner was really good with labelling the wiring, there is nothing to connect to the lug on the automatic choke. What feeds the choke..? There's no choke cable coming through, so assume he had an automatic one before....
Many thanks..

Assuming a 1600 tp and pict 34 carb it should be an auto choke with a 12v cable connection as suggested - if in doubt post a piccie!

Many thanks. There's no connection from the coil at the moment. Easy to fix that though.. :)
This forum was probably the best piece of advice the previous owner gave me....

amen to that :) helped me out loads

my connections go from the coil to the fuel cut off solenoid and then from there to the choke if that helps
