Just looked to order some more cobblestones, and on the cobb uk website they're out of stock til August :?

Anyone know elsewhere to get them?

Or anyone used the ultra quick briquettes?

What are they like? They only say an hours use compared to 2 for the real ones

Hamiltons are out of stock, of the genuine cobb ones have you used the ultra quick brand ones ? What are they like?

I got some from home bargains last year, they had them reduced to .89p for a pack of 2. Not sure if they still have them available but I stocked up ;-)

Lokkii bricks I cleared my local home bargains out too, I also ask every time I go in but they don't think they'll be getting them back

Yea between me and my neighbour I think we cleared out most of our local ones!

It's a large brick around 100mm diameter and around 35mm high.

Best thing you'll ever buy.

I think they light, burn and last better than the Cobb ones.

We find standard BBQ brickettes give you more bang for your buck although not as quick to be ready to cook on. You can usually get 9 into the basket.

That's what I used to use when I first got my cobb, cobblestones are more expensive but it makes using your cobb so much better to use, hotter, lasts longer, and you can start to cook sooner

Once you change you don't go back lol

I'm sure it said on one of the boxes 1 cobblestone = 14 briquettes
