colour of sliding door u hinge

Need to paint the u hinge on my westys sliding door but dont know what colour it should be
Any ideas please

Mine looks original and is silver.
Why not paint it to match your bodywork though?

I think they should be body coloured.

just thought I'd up date this thread,took my U bracket off today and low and behold - there is chrome under that paint - looks like it was chromed originally. my Bus was just a standard Kombi,converted to Dormy! maybe they were all chrome when new???

similar to the fuel tank fire wall in the engine bay? I've found a few bits that colour.

Yea that sort of grey but glossy not mat I guess the best description is battleship grey
