ive got a 1971 deuxe microbus which ive been "umming and aahing" about selling for aaaaaages
well - ive finally seen the light and decided to keep him :D

he's currently running a 1641 engine and is desparatley in need of a new exhaust - been looking at the various header / silencer combos and wondered whether i'd need a large or small flange system

its also fitted with an old breather system (rocker covers to filler neck to breather box) and the pipes have a nasty habit of coming off no matter how tight i fasten the jubille clips. s it necessary to keep this fitted or can it be removed without having too much of an adverse effect on the engine ?

at the last MOT i got an advisory for "excessive play in the steering idler pin" - is this a daunting task or can a mechanical numpty like me sort it ?

Cheers folks

You've not been on here a while is design 21still making racks? need another board bar for my set up

replace the covers for stock if you must wont be too much of a prob but make sure your case breathers clean and not kinked..

Idler pin not done one but believe its fairly straight forward, i'll leave that for someone else to comment..

small flange will be fine, but really depends on the system you get..
