crank pulleys

hi all

just after a good recommendation for a crank pulley. current one i got has a stuck on degree wheel thats come off. its a no name ali pos.

what should i replace it with? gen vw? scat etc. my case is a ali one Ive heard that not all pulleys fit esp the after market ones

i should say notches for tdc 30 deg advance etc would be useful do the standard vw ones have this?

recently fitted a scat one and although i read some poor reviews after buying it, i went for it anyway. no leaks yet. i did have to fit a spacer ring which came with it to get the alignment right though.

used white paint to mark the timing

If i was to but again i'd probably go for a genuine one - do some searches on the forum

yeah i think gen vw is the way to go. they are 60 from heritage. need to find a second hand one really keep costs down.
