I've never been round Croyde area before so I'm going in blind :?

Never been to that Campsite but have been to Croyde lots of times, it is a beautiful place if you like surfing and rugged countryside. There is not much in Croyde apart from a few surf shop and a couple of pubs but it's such a small place that everywhere is pretty much 'walking distance'
I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Combe Martin is close to Ilfracombe, for Croyde heres a list of most of them that are walking distance to village & beach..

our very own chris is there right now in his early bay, he goes every year. The campsite is right next to the beach with excellent facillities. Surf shops, craft shops and an excellent pub called the thatch

Went to oceanfest this year http://www.goldcoastoceanfest.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and stayed at http://www.parkdeanholidays.co.uk/devon-holidays/ruda/ruda-holiday-park.htm?e=1199&gclid=COXrnZL2-qICFSSElAod4jpjiQ" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; campsite, excellent facilities and across the road from the beach. Croyde is superb, very scenic and excellent surfing, enjoy !

Just came back last week myself from croyde I stopped at bay view campsite spotless toilets and showers , took Edina and Had top weather all week . Putsbourgh just round the corner too and can camp right on top of the beach there if your feeling energetic can walk along the seafront too Woolacombe for fish and chips ..

I'm booked in at Coombe Martin from the 29th August for a week
really looking forward to it & keep looking at all the live webcams.
Woolacombe beach was full of bays in the car park :lol:
