We spontaneously went to Brighton Breeze for a couple of hours, I thought I would share pictures for people who could not go. I thought there was some great stuff there, although it seemed quieter than the last time we went which was 7/8 years ago!

Thanks.

Yep, I was fairly surprised. Plus full of chips and ice cream... :party0051:

I thought it was quieter than the last time we went, but there was some lovely stuff there. The Cool Flo disco van was quite something. I had a video of it, but I chose to record during a song which really isn't suitable for sharing on here!

We had a really enjoyable time apart from finding that someone had left a large scratch on our rear bumper (we were parked where the Go Karts were and were on the cyclepath which seemed to wind up many locals, so I suspect one gave us the scratch),

Hope it is an easy repair :x

I didn't think the Go Karts worked where they were. We walked passed that Go Kart inflatable area and it was covering about 3/4 of the road. We then walked down the pier and ate some food etc. When we walked back the Go Karts had covered the whole road of that section, meaning we had to walk between vehicles to get onto the path, around, then back through to the main road to continue looking. The inflatable section was actually touching the bumpers of buses parked there and I am sure the Karts do not go fast enough to cause damage, but it just seemed unnecessary to have Go Karts so close to 'show' vehicles.

It seemed to make more sense to have the Karts at the end of the 'line up' on the massive open area as you walk towards the Marina.

Near this section ^

There was nothing there and plenty of space.

Otherwise, apart from being quiet, it was a well planned show. :rocknroll:

That was pretty amazing with the subwoofer built into the side of the bus!

The Go Karts were supposed to go behind the busses on the pavement, but the council hadn't shifted some barriers as they had promised to do. That left the karts nowhere to go, so they were put in the road instead. A bit more thought and I think it would have worked better for the show and the karts.

The damage wasn't done by the karts, it was my rear bumper on the pavement where the damage was done, not the front which had the inflatable between us and the kart. It is very annoying, but not the end of the world.
