I am thinking of getting a Sony one of these for the van,has anyone out there got any expertese on this?
If so what did you do for the aerial and how is the reception?
I fancy having one aerial for FM and another for DAB but unsure if a screen aerial will be good enough.
regards Paul

I think you need a special DAB aerial, i wanted one for mine, but i dont no where it could be mounted, i was thinking of hiding it in the poptop or roofrack so it doesnt lok out of place...

If your buying the headunit new you usually get one. It's basically a little plastic box with really thin wires with a piece of sticky tape over them.
You have to stick it vertically to tbe windscreen.
I've fitted a couple at work, I usually hide the wire by tucking it into the windscreen rubber, and then running it down the gap between the a pillar and the dash.
The sound quality and reception are perfect .
The last one i did was a sony xplod head unit and also had an option to plug in a normal fm radio aerial.
