 No longer have our orange and white Danbury
We had CCG 567K and sold her about 12+ years ago having had her for ten years.
Still hoping to find her again - know she is in Fareham somewhere on a SORN - If you see her let me know please - I would love to think that she is being restored :) Just to know that someone still loves her would be enough :) but to have her back would be even better :D
She rarely let us down, even towing a caravan up Birdlip Hill with a cylinder gone and getting us all the way home to Hampshire. :p
The Style Police - our oldest daughter -used to beg us not to pick her up from school in the van, but now even she wants it back because it would be 8)
When I find out how to attach pics. I will put some on.

Love the old catalogues and pics. Half pint - they make me very happy :D Think I will search e-bay to see if there are any old catalogues etc. on there - never thought of looking for them despite the fact that I have loads of old cooking gizmos, still boxed, like Talawear icing set, pyrex frothy choc plunger, and other stuff, plus lots of old 1940s/50s knitting patterns - can't knit either. Just collect anything - hubby calls me Lady Steptoe  - loads of old books really old like 1800s - flat irons, Top hat and tails, china bedpan, lots of pre-war stuff. windup gramaphone and records to go with it. Still have all the vinyl and a 'radiogram' all working...............
not too much to ask ..just to have an old bus............ :|

C C G 567K IS FOUND

Microbus/van:- Van
poptop/tintop:- Poptop and proud
Walkthrough/bench:- walkthough
Engine:- 1600 (soon to be balanced 1641 with twin 40s)

Van is going off the road this year for a full resto and repaint - cant decide wether to paint it blue up to the bodyline or roofline? Also chasing any interior items I can find so if anyone knows of a working cooker, decent sink, coolbox, rear wardrobe or water tank going let me know!

Hello Montana :D

Certainly most of the early bay Danburys were based on Microbuses, but Kombis were also used. My parents' Danbury was a Kombi.
The late bay Danburys were, on the whole, panel van based conversions. :D

Great to be seeing more Danburys 'popping up'! 8)
