Just tried to take the pod out and couldnt pull the heater controls off (as per my last bay) they are held on with plastic clips, is there an easy way to get these off as im guessing they will be brittle......

With a deft hand and the correct small socket on a screw driver attachment it is possible to remove the clock with the pod in place.

To remove the clips that hold the heater arms in place use a 4.5mm socket on the end of an extension and hit it onto the tapered part of the clip, works everytime for me although 2 of the clips you have to get by undoing the dash and trying to hold it out of the way.

That will explain why its cracked at the bottom of the heater slots  , wanted it out to give everything a scrub
