i need to get some degreaser to clean the inside panels before laying some dynamat for sound proofing. saw this (gunk green) in halfords:

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_700554_langId_-1_categoryId_165713#dtab" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

anyone with any thoughts on suitability ..... or indeed suggestions for anything better for the job?

Would you be better with spirit wipes the sort that are used prior to painting, I think would will need to wash gunk off with a hose or loads of water, not great in an interior, how bad is the grease build up?

you are probably right. it shouldn't need much as it has only just been painted. however, most of what i read about dynamat etc mentions using degreaser. thanks.

You'll want something like Panel Wipe or Panel Degreaser which are avaible from decent motor factors.

This can be pricey though so a cheaper (and still as effective) option is meths.
