hi all,

I am a bit stumped.I have the wooden buddy seat that goes behind the driver, and the runners but how do i fix the seat in place, ie some kind of locking device for the runners? Any ideas??

cheers

the runner should have a build in spring locking the seat on the runner but to secure it to the floor mine has a vertical bolt that locks into a plate that you fix to the floor of the van for extra safety although i dont think it was a factory fit but it does work. You should be able to slide the seat and lock it in two positions for front facing and rear facing positions.

First of all well done for having a Devon Moonraker - the best conversion to my mind! It's about time we had a Moonraker subgroup as well...

If you ever get to see rjb63's excellent van take a look at his box & back which makes a seat in the walkthrough. I've made a rough copy just for show but it's not the real thing, something to look for at shows I guess.

As for the single seat mine locks on its own on the tracks, a lever by the side does it I think.

Mine has a lever for adjusting the forward position, and along with this it also has the lock as above :D

Bring on the moonrakers!
