trying to put together some history on my bus so far i know it was a kombi built in 1972 in 1972 converted to a devon in sidmouth and and registered in cornwall on april 1st 1972

if any one has any info please message me

the reg:- DAF 129K

You used to be able to apply to the dvla , pay them some money and they would send you the details of all the po's of the vehicle etc

Have a look on their website, presume you can still do it
 
Previous keeper details for your vehicle

As the current registered keeper of a vehicle you can request information about the history of your vehicle and previous keepers. You must complete the relevant sections on the V888 form and send it with the fee of £5.00 to the address above.

Please note: a new V888 form was introduced in December 2008, edition 08/10. From 1 June 2009, DVLA will reject applications from customers who have completed an out of date V888 form.

i think this is my old bus :lol: my mem is not to good ,i am just searching for some pics to check the reg ,the guy i sold it to took to back to stafford .sadly i couldnt do the work it needed where i use to live ,the kids were well upset when i sold it ,they called her dafny.

the guy i bought it off bought it off someone else who had restored it this is what it looked like before he got it

phew ,lucky for me its not my old bus ,mine was dfn 497k .it was the 9 that got me thinking ,broke our harts when i had to sell ,if the kids found out where it is they would want it back, i dread going to the shows incase they see it ,i have a 71 cally import now wich is down to a bear shell ,between me and you i am looseing intrest big time ,i have know garage and just cant get on ,the shell is in really good nick .i am even thinking of choping it up and selling panels as they are really good nick.

Nooo, do`nt chop it up :shock:
Have a break from it and maybe in the new year your interest will return.
I`m sure it will be worth it in the end :D

my intrest is there ,just cant get on with it ,i work silly hours ,i laid out doing a few sml bits of welding the other day in really cold weather and now i am laid up .this time last year i striped it down in minus 5 temp ,just dont seem to be getting anywhere ,ive spent hours blasting all the under body parts and painting them but really need to get the bodywork done
