Thats what im wanting .

Came to realise at the weekend that my brakes are crap.
Its all new brakes on my bus (well 500 miles ago) and properly adjusted.
But spent a bit of time on the motorway this weekend fully loaded and a trailer tent.
Realised i needed a brake upgrade from my non servo drums all round set up that i have.

Wanted discs up front and a servo.
Question is, do i realy need to spend a grand+ on this set up?

I have a CSP wide 5 front brake kit fitted with no servo and its great - fantastic performance and top quality kit.

Well worth the outlay for piece of mind for the wifelet and I

find a front beam out of a 71 and change the lot ,seen a few on flea bay for good money in the past ,if you get one and the servos a bit dodgy heitage do one to replace

Cheers for the replies.
Forgot to say, i want to keep it wide 5  .

Ahhhh, VWspeedshop do a wide 5 front disc kit for around the £400-£500 mark, I spotted it yesterday but thought I'd check the website again for you and send the link but their site is down for maintenance.

Oooo- that looks good - i want :msn4:

I had a 72 with discs and pad set up from a 3b passat. Futbus machined the pad carriers to fit the beam. It was a good set up, does anyone know if it is still available?
