Do your buses earn their keep ?

Just noticed wedding hire in another thread & wondered if you guys hire your bus out for weddings, proms etc.

If so is it worth it for just the odd few times?
What do you need to do eg insurance etc as it would be nice if my bus could contribute towards his up keep !

a fella round here bought 2 just for weddings, gave up and sold (1 for his own use now)..to much grief ie council/insurance/checks for drivers and general misuse of van. bubbly wine all over etc. even stricter for prom transport. so if you ask him worst thing he did .he spent ages at wedding fairs in the cold for nothing really barely covered

I did a few proms for people I know last summer.
Went well and earnt a bit of extra cash
