Iv bought a converted panel which I pick up in a week's time.
Basically im looking at welding in complete sides into my van, wheel arch to top window frame, to convert it into a proper camper van.
I would like to know if panel vans have the window frame pressing inside as a camper?? Or is it completly different?
Anyone know?
I will buy you a pint at a show to get the answer. No joke :!:

mines a pint of bud :!: you can fit outer skins with window frames but you will need inner frames from a doner, the panel is the same but stops below the door guide.i fitted new sides on a badly rusted bay and had to replace the inner sections ,good luck in finding some.and a spot welder to join the frame ,you wont want to plug weld and grind

Thanks guys.
You going Tatton this sunday 67panel? There will be a pint waiting for you on the SSVC stand in a yellow kombi :D

no as much as i would like to ,cant make it .next gig drag racing at shakey, crewing daughters beetle, then vanfest, look out for the green panel in show and shine.cheers
