dormobile cool box

Hi guys question for dormobile buffs should there be a seal for the cool box that the lid closes on to,just been cleaning mine out for vw fest this weekend and there appears to be glue remains of some sort all around the egde of the cool box it's self. cheers.

Yes there was a foam self adhesive seal. You can buy the equivalent - its just draught strip about 6 to 8 mm wide and about 3mm thick.

If your in the mood you can also improve the insulation by taking out the plastic box and cutting some more polystyrene to fill all the gaps left by Dormobile when they lined the wooden cabinet.

thanks for the replys, another little job for the winter.My bus will becoming off the road shortly for a winter rebuild,so i will do it then.
