Dormobile roof rubber fitting

Hello all
Could anyone please tell me how the rubber fits on the dormy roof with the hinges?
Do you have to cut the sections away from behind the hinges so they sit down on the roof gutter and line up with the holes?

The rubber stops at the hinges you don't put it in between them.

Thanks for that, so you mean the rubber only goes along three edges and stops at the two outer most hinges, and leaving the remainder bare?

I was totally stumped as JK sent me enough rubber for the whole roof and another two feet extra again!

well that is how mine is but keep asking to get conformation.

Yes, the seal stops just around the corners at the outside hinges.
