driveshaft gasket???

A month or so ago my driveshaft fell down from the wheel hub, at a guess the guy i bought it off hadn't tightened the bolts up when he changed the c.v rubbers. my questions are.....i have got new bolts but should there be washers?? and is there a gasket to go back between the driveshaft and the hub?? Any answers very very welcome!!

Bolts locking washers and spacers and the protective cap the bolts need to be torque to 25 ft lb....

The caps are the piece that the boot is clamped to. The washers are a standard lock washer from hardware store.
