Drop spindles

Could anyone tell me if a set of drop spindles and coilovers bought from type2 detective for a crossover would fit on a 71 earlybay with front disc brakes.

Don't know about the ones from T2d but when I bought mine from Thause they were a one year only item so I'm guessing not unless they were bought specifically for that year.

If the crossover has it's original ('71/'72 only) brakes, then yes it should fit.

'71 and '72 shared disc brakes and spindles, the parts are NOT one year only. Even Transporterhaus list them as '71-'72 (not one year only).

The calipers were upgraded (increased in physical size and piston length) for the '73 model year and these are not interchangeable without different spindles (or a caliper mounting kit).

Oops, missed that the OP specified that the ones purchased were for a crossover and just read it as purchased some spindles fron t2d
