early bay diferences list ?

i was wondering if it was worth us having a thread on hear with a list of early bay diferences(mabee a sticky )where we could add diferences we come across, as so far on my bay ive had loads of bits orderd wrong that i dident relize were diferent from the later bays

my latest cock up, buying then rubing down then painting dash top trim only to find out the 2 in the middle of the dash are shorter on the earlys

what do we all think ?

Deffo mate.
I've had a bloody nightmare getting stuff for my early '68.
I got an Nos front inner panel which to my horror didn't fit the chassis rails properly + the bumper bolt holes didn't line up.
Thanks to '67bay for telling me '67s & '68s have a smaller chassis section :shock: hence the dodgy fit even being NOS.

All the tech books I've come across don't go into that kinda detail.
So the thread would help all the other poor sods

I actually have a detailed list floating around on my computer desk/pile noting the differences of the early bays from 68-71. I'll try to post it up tonight whilst you all are sleeping.
