Put a note through the front door
asking if you can see inside to see if there are any " Aztec" wrappers
then you can get to see it
but then I bet its locked and they cant find the key!

I have finally had a quick chat with the owner, was a bit cagey and wouldn't let me look in the van. But, he did say that he's been meaning to ask his son to take pics of it for eBay at some point, but he doesn't strike me as the type of guy who acts quickly. Next time I see him I'll try to progress things a bit - try and get a look at the van and suggest I take it off his hands to save the hassle eBay pictures/questions etcetc. He also said he has a second engine for it sitting in the garage.

In addition. Last night I had a chat with an old friend of my dad's who it turns out has a '71 Bay in his back garden, which has been sat for 15yrs, which he bought brand new in 1971 when he won the pools, I've arranged to go and see it in Feb. a one-owner early bay/crossover that I'm sure he will have loads of history for/+European holiday snaps from the 70's/80's etcetc. Actually more confident of getting ownership of this one..
