Just returned from 2 weeks in Cornwall and its got to be said EBs are the new splitty. Hardly saw any splits not that many lates and shed loads of earlys. It dosent seem many years ago that i never saw another early down that way. Saying that T4/5s are the weapon of choice but i still dont get it.(More Max Power than Volksworld if you get my meaning)

If Merlin and Arthur read this did you get any pictures in the car park before you left. You had gone before we got back from the beach.

Hope you got home ok Faux, fancy being on the same site.

Hi Clyde

Yeah, had a great week and got home fine (7 hours on way back though, that will teach me!)

Small world eh!

Was there 3 weeks ago and counted 7 earlies 6 splits and 31 lates

Lost count of T3s 4s and 5s but whats with those Mazda bongo things, theyre everywhere.

Just back myself from Cornwall and I agree, loads of earlys n lates, and only saw two splits.
From Surrey to Delabole and back we counted 99 buses in total, splits, early and late, and a few heading to Cornwall Friday I assume for the Jamboree. :D

Last year I only saw the one early in cornwall, this year a good few more but **** loads of wedges and this last few weeks on the A14 M11 loads of wedges far out weighing anything else (quite a few earl y transits too), not seen many splits on the open road at all this year....

I live on the main road between Aberystwyth and Machynlleth and drop onto the Ynyslas dunes a few times a week to chill. I've seen 4 different earlies parked up on the bay (scuse the pun) and another 4 on the open road in the last 6 weeks. One early was trundling along with a splitty for company. Maybe Mid Coastal Wales is where it's good to look around this summer.

I was in at Watergate bay a couple of weeks ago for some surfing, quite a few campers in the carpark but no earlys, i parked next to a split just as he was getting stuff out of his boot tryed to say hello but was just blanked as he turned his back on me  ......miserable fecker couldnt be bothered to say hello. Saw loads of bays down that way and they all waved on passing.

you were 1/2-1 mile away from my house with several earlys to perv at and didn`t even come for a cupo of tea. My workshop which has many more was only 3 miles away :?

Shame, as Scott and Amelia are great hosts and put on a mean BBQ.

Their green early westy was there to perve at too.

Sorry fella, faux said i should drop in on you but to be honest i was doing the family thing and i know i could easily waste the best part of a day looking at buses. Maybe next time, the cuppa sounds good so will take you up on the offer sometime. Cheers.

Ive seen loads of earlies/crossovers this year too,the splits are probably wrapped up in cotton wool in a heated garages waiting for the next show.(ex splitty owner)
