dude you can surf :mrgreen: shame you couldn`t make it down to perran.....at least buz, robhinho and myself did and it was 3ft and clean on the sets 8)

Yeah scott shame we didn't come down. I sat there in the bus counting my cash and cursing 
The sat nav told me that perran was going to add another 2 hrs on the journey home make it 6hrs in total. I've deffo made it back home in less than that before.
As it turned out we left Lobb friday mid morning, and we were doing well in heavy traffic until junction 8 m5, after that it was a nightmare. In all it took 8 hrs to get home :shock:
Didn't beat my record of 10.5hrs though, that was the Sat after the eclipse in 2000. I sat in a traffic jam from Newquay to Bristol and that is not an exzageration either, good times :?

ant....did you have any clearance issues getting into saunton car park?!?! im heading up there in a mo... and im getting a little concerned about the cheeky little speed bumps they have up there!!

dude the speed bumps on the hill are ok, they are not that big.
The big prob is right up the top, just as you come off the road. Take it real slow as enter off the road.
But getting back on to the road is worse, i bottomed out on the pedal tray pretty bad and had to power out of it. No real damaged just a little scary, if you've removed your pedal tray i'd be proper careful.

didnt get to saunton...got dragged to croyde by the inlaws... where the surf was big, breaking quickly and mushy for longboards.... so i didnt go in! saunton looked nice and mellow!!!
bus went a treat though.... although i think i desperately need some dropped spindles... ride is well hard and bumpy!!!! :lol:
lobb fields looked pretty empty on the way back through braunton..... needs a few ebs in it!!!! surf trip....
