bit of an update for you earlybayers

"The Nik Turner Band"

Life long VW owner and founder member of 70's rock band "Hawkwind" to star this years Elemental VW Show along with Meurig'D.W.' Griffiths, (ex-Madonna drummer) and other co stars from Hawkwindand Space Ritual.

With Nik known for burning the candle at both ends, this appearance will be no different.

Full on Light and laser show by ex- Space Ritual and Pink Floyd Technician, Justin Illuminarté

As well as the full Space Ritual / Hawkwind set...

The band play hot funk, for all youse hipsters, flipsters and finger-poppin' daddies, and cool/torrid afro-cuban, latino licks for the ladies.

Music with a sense of class, like a guy that knows how to treat a dame gotta have, and make ya wanna dance, go wild, rico mambo, get funked up, rock out!!

Silent Sound Systems

Got the Silent Disco confirmed as back for this year again so I can guarrantee there won't be some nutters in the corner of the field having a loud rave all night keeping everyone awake...

they'll all be cutting shapes in the silent disco til 5am like last year ... silently

If you don't know what a silent disco is.... there's a big marquee that's effectively a club full of disco lights and things and two sets of DJ decks.

When you walk in you get a pair of headphones, they're wireless and have a switch on them A or B

The two DJ booths play different stuff and you can choose which or A or B you listen to in the club.

Its also great to watch..... last year the Bike Club who provided security and the main marquee and a load of help... were all in there all denim and leather playing air guitar and rocking out to ACDC and the like while a load of people in brightly coloured clothes waving glowsticks were havin' it large to some banging techno.
