End float

Need some more info, just been checking the end float on my engine i don't have any movement whatsoever! do i need to remove some shims to give some movement ?????

Have you just built the engine or is it a running engine in your bus?

If its a running engine then how many miles has it done?

How are you measuring the end float? You need a dial gauge because the measurement is very small.

thanks for the reply, don't know how many miles the engine has done it was out of the bus when i bought it, and its not the original engine
will check again with a dial gauge and post the results
