Hi all

Fitted my replacement engine today, it came with a bocar on it which i, stripped, serviced and cleaned. The engine starts up and runs smooth but dies when you open the throttle, runs ok if you ease the throttle open, but if you open it slightly quicker than a gradual ease it goes to die :x If you hold the choke open then blip the throttle it revs up fine :? Signall maybe running lean? Had a fiddle with the mixture screw but didnt seem to make much of a difference. Not taken it out on the road yet this is just from being run on the drive.

Any ideas?
cheers

theres no play in the spindal, was going to fit the Solex that came with the engine but i had loads of spindal movement so went with the Bocar. Not sure about dampness, i dont think so but ile check tomorrow and report back.

cheers :)

Carb is all dry! Going to take air filter off later and see if the accelerator pump pushes fuel out when open throttle
