Engine mounting?

Got a new engine mount bar from volksworld yesterday. It looks like the original has four extra holes which mount onto a bracket on the engine. Should the bar bolt direclty into the engine block? If so I will need to drill and tap some holes in the block.
Hopes this makes sense.

PS really good line up yesterday. Hopefully I'll be in it soon.

a bus engine will have 3 holes that marry up to the bar if its a bug or universal engine then you'll need to get an adaptor thats replaces the pump cover and has the holes in the right place
