I use morris sae 30 in my bus....for best results follow the makers instructions.....ive found that goes for most things in life

True for a lot of things but I'm pretty sure the makers wouldn't still be using sae 30 today
Nothing wrong with using it tho - just people get a bit hung up on what oil you MUST use!
As I think Sparkywig said - just make sure it's got oil in and regularly change if no filter.

I use valvoline vr1 20/50 mineral oil

20w 50 halfords oil is what I use and it's perfect.

same for me, does the job just fine
