First trip with new engine .....

Just had my engine replaced with a nice 2 Ltr lump ...... decided to get the 500 mile issue solved with a drive to Wales from London. Got as far as Hounslow .... puncture ....... flat spare ....... now have 2 new tyres as well ......... and had to do the whole trip at 50mph ...... 6 hours.

It never ends ........ oh, and the starter motor has packed up, had to get the tyre people to push start us!!!!

I just put a new engine in mine. The first start up had me shitting it. All i thought was have i done this, did i check that. But i've got just over 100 miles on it, runs lovley

family! got back last night after a second starter motor failure ..... at the bottom of a steep driveway ..... tow trucked out but faced a journey back from Bristol with no room for error - one stall and we were for it. Fortunately I managed to remain calm under pressure and get home without disaster.
