This is how far i have got, i am gonna get a schofields b pillar and all the sill parts tomorrow, just a bit scary doing it!

hi the schofields panel doesnt replace the complet sliding door track. i'd hat to say but it looks like you've took it back a bit too far as the schof panel doesnt come with the top guide. i've just fitted one and took some picks on my tread. take a look.
good luck with it

If you are replacing the lower 'b' post section the quality from schofields is good (it was 4 years ago)
just bear in mind to not just butt weld it.....also before you weld home the sliding door track clamp it up and re-fit the sliding door, put the sliding door lower roller in the middle of it's adjustment and align the door gap.
Maybe teaching granny to suck eggs here!!

Good luck

snakey, that inner B-post you got pictured - there is a small notch at the bottom of the inner b-pillar. is that not meant to be sitting over the edge of the sill rather on top. if you see what i mean?

Yes I do see what you mean.
The sill b'post etc went on about 4 years ago so my memory is a little fuzzy.
The bus was/is so bad I had little or no reference to go by when all this went on, so to ensure correct panel fit I got myself a NOS sliding door which then gave a proper profile at the base of the b post and also ensured the track was in the right place(with the door in the middle of it's adjustment).

So I think dropping the b post repair onto the notch pushed the b post cover panel out and left a gap where the b post meets the cutout in the sill.

I think!!!
