Do these need special housings ?

They use stock housings with a hole drilled for wiring. Simple to do!

There were aubtly different covers but as previously said. They were mainly just to route the wire through a grommet.

Chances are the covers would need to be colour matched so would be better just to drill a hole for the wire.

You don't need to have heat exchangers as they are to boost cold air through the cold air ducting - through the front air box

If I didn't already have a pair fitted I'd buy these at this price.
As mentioned ^^^^^ just drill a hole for the wires in your existing covers to give that extra fresh air boost.
