For Sale: RHD 1972 Westy Poptop £9995 (DEPOSIT TAKEN)

Hi all

Following a recent attempt to bankrupt myself I need to sell our camper to cover some of the debt!!

As it says in the title it is a RHD 1972 Westy pop-top.

I am looking for offers around the £9995 mark although may consider selling some of the accessories separately to give more flexibility on the price. As far as I can see (and know) this bus is solid and those who have worked on it have commented on this.

Would love it to go the someone in the community here.

So...the good bits:
1) A Laurie Pettit 1776 engine with about 4000 miles on it
2) A propex heater for those colder evenings
3) A locking Gene Berg Shifter
4) A Waeco CR-50 Fridge
5) A 100 watt solar panel & two leisure batteries
6) A Pro-tec cover
7) A Side step

The not so good bits:
1) There is bubbling at the bottom of the drivers door, but I don't think this is anything but cosmetic (See pictures).
2) Fault in the paint below the drivers door, again I don't think this is anything but cosmetic (See pictures).
3) Some other cosmetic areas where it shows signs of age.

I have tried to be honest with the picture, but will supply more if needed. I want to sell, but equally I want to be honest. I have always found the VW community to be fair and I hope whoever buys this will say the same about me.

Sad to see the bus go, but we will still be around.

Won't be I the line up, but still hoping to be at Brighton Breeze again.

One day we will be back in a camper!!! We're just taking time out
