Found a tube ?

Can anyone confirm this being a vent pipe ? \There was nothing on it and the top of my tank just had a cut of piece of tube at the top of the tank. Am I just missing a vent hose ? The tube in top of tank compartment is larger than tube coming out the fuel tank.

I got one of those as well. I assumed it was just the same as where the fuel filler hose goes depending on LHD and RHD. Hose on the right for me, and a hole to the left.

it is a fuel tank vent, this photo may help, they is a metal pipe connecting it to the top of the tank.

That pipe goes off to the left :?: where does it go after that ? I deffo haven't got one of them :? More expense :roll:

The pipe that goes off to the left curves around and connects to the breather that you originally posted about.

Is there a bracket that secures it by the curved end or does it just rest on the tank ?

sorry about the quality but the only pic i could find without the engine in the way. but if you look at the strap that holds the tank down on the left you'll see the thin flat bracket that holds the breather
