Hi All, I'm new to earlybay. We bought a 72 crossover late last year and due to the following, we have not used it much. Some PO has lowered the bus to the point that when we go over a decent bump, the rear swing arms hit the chassis. On the front there seem to be adjusters on the beam, but no means of locking the adjusters any higher. So today I have ordered a weedeater so I will be able to have some control over how low I want to take the bus. Whilst measuring the front beam today, I have found that someone has removed the anti-roll bar. Is this standard practice for lowering, I'm guessing that this will cause me handling problems and I will have to find one to put on my new weedeater when it arrives?
Your thoughts will be appreciated

If it's low there's a good chance you don't need it - reduced body roll through lowering.

Hi Joval,
I didn't think about that. I'm hoping to take the bus up an inch or two and put commercial tyres back on as the PO has put car tyres on the front. Just want to make it safe so the gf and I can use it without worrying.

I doubt if you will find an anti roll bar that is 86mm narrower, but they do make a difference. I haven't had one fitted for years due to being too low and narrowed.
