first off happy new year to you all :D can any body help as im doing a full resto on my E/B removed front beam to repair chassie bought droped spindles etc trying to fit arms and i cant get them off i have taken out all grub screws (on 4 arms and 2 on the beam) arms are still hard up against bump stops what am i doing wrong :( .
 
If you can get hold of one, the easiest way I have found of doing it is to use a porta power and press them apart.

Dont have a photo of it in place but this is close

Have you still got the original spindles/balljoints etc attached?

Don't cut off the bump stops, remove the clips so you can remove them and put them back on later. Dropped spindles work better with bump stops.
