Front beam

first off happy new year to you all can any body help as im doing a full resto on my E/B removed front beam to repair chassie bought droped spindles etc trying to fit arms and i cant get them off i have taken out all grub screws (on 4 arms and 2 on the beam) arms are still hard up against bump stops what am i doing wrong .

If you can get hold of one, the easiest way I have found of doing it is to use a porta power and press them apart.

Dont have a photo of it in place but this is close

Have you still got the original spindles/balljoints etc attached?

cut off the bump stops first and they should come out easier

Don't cut off the bump stops, remove the clips so you can remove them and put them back on later. Dropped spindles work better with bump stops.
