Okay I'm probably being thick here but....

My front drivers door is a bugger to shut. It's catching somewhere when it's closing (some paint off the door near the mechanism and also some off near the striker plate. It also drops a bit when you open it as if its being forced up onto the striker when it's being closed.

I've been told you can adjust the striker up and down but I can't see how that's possible cos its two round holes and two Allen bolts holding that on so.....

Any help appreciated cos it's getting bloody annoying.

Cheers

Johnny

They bolt through to a plate that is in the door. The same as the hinge bolt, they move around quite a lot surprisingly. I don't know if the plate will drop down never to be found again but when I took both bolts out I stuck a screw in one of the holes just in case!
