Hi i know this topic comes up alot and always will, the back of my van was lowered when i brought it and sits so nice just the front sits a tad higher, dont and cant spend hundreds the beam is in good nik so was wondering if any one has the adjusters fitted around the £100 price are there many diff types,i only want to drop it about 2 inches any info would be cool....Rowan.

AFAIK buses come slightly higher (nose up) at the front from the factory, possibly to compensate for the weight of 2 passengers up front?

I would find it strange someone would tackle lowering the back and not the front at the same time :? ... have you got any pics?

WHS ^^

I never liked the "nose-up" look of VWs.

I think the back 'sags' a bit on many old buses - it might look like it's been lowered at the rear but it's difficult to be sure. Also, lowering the back is a (relatively) straightforward mechanical job - not so with the front.

As you can see it sits lower at the back than the front, but its not standard at the front any lower will touch tyres type 2 detectives quoted me £150 to bring the back up an inch or 2 ??

Hi

Mine as all bays sat high at the front, so a few hours and a set of dropped spindles later, im happy with the mild lower stance 8) didnt touch the back.

If your handy with a BFH then do it yourself, save you 150 notes (which sounds expensive to bring the splines round one)

Ok tried to get back wheels off today and cant ??when jacked up the wheels dont drop far enought to get the off so now i am really confused and if i use adjusters on the front i can only see my tyres touching the front arch? HELP
