front seat modification question

i was just sat wondering if there was any reason/s why a rear bench seat couldent be modified to fit the front?has anyone done this before?never really payed any atention to rear microbus seats so there could be size isues?im sure if it would fit size wize i could get round any other problems.

Anything is possible in a V-dub.
Remember several years ago some guy did a full bench mod in front of an Mk1 Golf.
It was way cool.
Did require moving the shifter a few inches to the front :shock:
Not he case in our busses :mrgreen:
Would look ace in a bay

well i think if its wide enougth, it would be a fairly simple mod.

would someone be able to mesure the most rear seat width on there micro bus and also the depth of the base part please?
