Fuel pressure regulator calibration

Hello!

Iv'e aquired a filter king fuel pressure regulator to reduce the fuel pressure to my ICT'S, the question is how do i know if the fuel pressure is set to the correct level :?: , ot do i just bolt it on and hope for the best :roll: ,

If its the same as the one I had Turn the dial to 2-3 go for a run ,If it pops or splutters near full revs turn it up one fitted one to my mg floats kept over flowing worked a treat,Only after id bought a new pump and needles that I didnt need
